May 9, 2009: Oh, the pictures!!!

So, before we get to the party, we had to get the formalities out the of the way. Just after the ceremony, we had a rum punch toast followed by an Hoers d'œuvre hour. I made sure I got to eat!! I am not one of those brides that does not eat on her wedding day!!!

So that our guests could enjoy some drinks at the bar while Jim and I did our formal shots, we started with family and friend photos. Apparently as people were not being photographed, they found ways to entertain themselves.

There is not much of an exciting story to go along with these photos. I do want to add here that we had the most fantastic photographer ever. I was not impressed at all with the quality and cost of the RIU photographer, of his attitude towards other photographers. I had heard horror stories, and made my decision very quickly to hire Brian Nejedly (http://www.briandesign.com/)
