May 8, 2009: The final day of singlehood

Friday was filled with more fun and relaxation. Our final guests arrived - which included the Maid of Honor as well as the Best man - of all people!! We spent the morning at the beach and the rest of the day at the pool since Joanna and Felicia had showed up.

Jim and Kelly decided to just chat on our balcony.

Time to get ready to rehearse!

Rehearsal is rehearsal. We were basically told what was going to happen the next day, where to stand, and all that good stuff. The best man was not there, so we were missing a big part of our wedding party! We also had a last minute designated groomsman who was informed of his new duty just hours before rehearsal!

I let Ed stand in for me, as he has done this at least once.

But really, we were all just ready for some food! We were lucky enough to have a Travel Agent very familiar with the coordinators at the RIU. They were able to schedule us a private Rehearsal dinner at the Plantation Restaurant. Other than the lack of music, this was perfect for us as we were able to really chat with each other.

After 15 hours of travel, Jeremy appeared!

We gave our bridal party their gifts and made the parents open theirs. Jim and I decided on personalized hankies. We figured that they would be a nice keepsake for the parents. I also figured my mom and dad would find them handy (especially mom!!!) for the wedding day. Everyone seemed to appreciate them!

I can't remember if we went to a show after dinner or not. All I know is that the next day I was getting married and needed my sleep!
